1. Data controller
Simona Madalina Balanica, owner of Acretia Nails (VAT no. 04949940169), based at Via Nazionale 55, 24060 San Paolo d'Argon (BG), Italy. Contact: balanicasimona3@gmail.com or +39 379 220 1099 (phone/WhatsApp).
2. What data we process and why
- Browsing. The server logs technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) to run the site and protect it from abuse. We also use aggregated visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), which do not use cookies and are not used to profile you.
- QR code visits. When you open the site from our QR code we only count the number of visits (date and time), with no personal data.
- Enquiries and bookings. If you write or call us (WhatsApp, phone, Instagram) we use the data you give us to reply and arrange your appointment. WhatsApp and Instagram are Meta services and are handled under Meta's own policies.
- Clients. For booked and completed services we keep name, phone, email and address (if provided), appointments, services performed and payment method. Legal basis: providing the requested service and tax/accounting obligations.
- Newsletter and offers. Only with your consent, we use your contact to send you discounts and news. You can withdraw consent at any time, with no effect on the service.
- Phone notifications. Only if you turn them on in your browser, we store a technical identifier of your subscription to send reminders and news. You can turn them off at any time in your browser settings.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
- No profiling or marketing cookies. We use no advertising tools or tracking pixels.
- Technical session cookie. It only appears in the owner's private area after login (it expires after 12 hours); site visitors do not receive it.
- Browser storage. The site saves technical files (cache and "service worker") on your device so it loads faster and works on a weak connection. They contain no personal data.
- Google map. The map loads only if you press "Show the map". In that case Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address: see Google's privacy policy. So that we don't ask every time, the site remembers your choice on your device; if you do not load it, no data goes to Google.
- Fonts. The site's fonts are hosted on our own server and are not requested from external services.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell data. It may be received by parties who help us run the business: technical providers (hosting, Cloudflare for security and statistics), our accountant and advisers for tax obligations, and, if you use them, Google (map) and Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by law.
5. How long we keep data
- Client data and tax documents: for the period required by law (generally 10 years for accounting records).
- Newsletter contacts and notifications: until you withdraw consent.
- Technical browsing data: only as long as needed for security and to run the site.
6. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing and withdraw any consent given, by writing or calling the contacts above. You also have the right to complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
